What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Core Beliefs

Angier Baptist Church is committed to the Christian gospel as set forth in the Holy Scriptures, the Word of God. We affirm the participation of women and men in all aspects of church leadership and Christian ministry. As a church body, we affirm the Baptist faith's historical and common principles set forth in the Baptist Faith and Message of 1963.

How We Worship

Angier Baptist Church is a more traditional church in music style, where we sing hymns every week. However, we incorporate contemporary Christian songs into worship through our Praise Group, special music, and an instrumental prelude/ postlude. We also follow parts of the Liturgical Calendar, such as Advent, Lent, and the Day of Pentecost.

What To Expect

To start our service, we begin with an instrumental prelude directly, followed by the chiming of the hour. A typical service will last about an hour. We do not have a strict dress code, but most members come dressed in business casual. There is childcare available and activities for all age groups. Plan to hang around after the service to meet new people.
